DESCRIPTION:𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏: 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 – “𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲”  \nAs part of Pharmacovigilance Week\, the Department of Pharmacy Practice\, St.Pauls College of Pharmacy kicked off the celebrations with an engaging event titled “𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥” under the theme “𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲” on 𝟏𝟗.𝟎𝟗.𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.  \nThe Quiz Wall aimed to raise awareness about pharmacovigilance\, focusing on the importance of patient safety and the ease of reporting Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs).  \n Event Highlights:\n• Multiple-choice questions\, true/false statements\, and quick facts on pharmacovigilance\n• Self-paced\, interactive participation by students\n• A fun yet educational experience that reinforced key concepts in patient safety and ADR reporting\nWith the participation of 50 enthusiastic students from B. We were thrilled to witness the creativity and enthusiasm of 20 talented participants (forming 10 dynamic duos) who showcased their artistic flair\, passion\, and a deep understanding of the pharmacist’s role in healthcare. \n🎨 A big shoutout to all the participants for your incredible efforts! Pharmacy (3rd & 4th year) and Pharm.D (5th & 6th year) took part in this transformative initiative aimed at enhancing employability skills and preparing for real-world challenges.  \nWith expert facilitation by Mr. Karthikeya Vuyyuru and Mr. Vitthal Naubote\, students explored the 1B1M Skills Build platform\, gaining valuable insights into AI\, sustainability\, and future-ready skills.  \nThis program bridged the gap between academics and industry needs\, empowering our students to become future innovators and leaders.\n🙏 Heartfelt thanks to 𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗞\, Principal 𝗗𝗿. DESCRIPTION:The Industry–Institute Partnership Cell of 𝐒𝐭. 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲 organized an industrial visit to 𝐒𝐚𝐢 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬\, IKP Knowledge Park\, Turkapally\, on 𝟑𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. A group of 50 VII-semester students explored the 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 & 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐛\, 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑&𝐃 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲\, and 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭-𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭\, gaining valuable insights into real-world pharmaceutical processes. The visit\, guided by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑. 𝐋. DESCRIPTION:The Career Guidance Cell of 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆 successfully organized a 4-day intensive workshop on the 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 under the flagship program 𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 – 𝗜𝗕𝗠 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱. The sessions were conducted from 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 in collaboration with 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻\, 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱.  \nWe were honored to have expert trainers Mr. Mahendar\, Mr. V. Sashank Reddy\, Mr. Shakeef\, and Ms. A. Praveena from Magic Bus Foundation who delivered impactful and hands-on learning sessions. The program was closely monitored and supported by the Career Guidance Cell.  \nA total of 140 students from B. Pharmacy (Final Year)\, Pharm D (4th Year)\, and M. Pharmacy enthusiastically participated and successfully completed the course. Assessments were carried out through assignments and presentations\, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning experience. Our NSS volunteers actively participated in an inspiring awareness session on cybercrime and online safety. The session\, led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗻\, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿\, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆\, focused on identifying root causes using user-centric approaches and understanding prototyping as an iterative tool for innovation. The session aimed to enhance R&D awareness\, explore various funding sources\, and emphasize problem identification to address real-world challenges.  \nThe lecture was delivered by Dr. Ajay Godwin Potnuri\, Scientist–I\, Department of Pharmacology\, AIIMS\, New Delhi\, under the able coordination of Prof. Somnath De\, HoD\, Department of Pharmacology.   \nDr. Potnuri elaborated on the role of Histamine 2 receptor signalling in cardiovascular pathology and discussed its promising therapeutic potential in hypertensive heart disease. The session was highly informative and interactive\, witnessing enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.  \nThe college sincerely thanks the management for their constant support and extends heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Kiranmai Mandava\, Principal\, for her visionary guidance in promoting academic excellence and research-oriented learning. The session proved to be highly beneficial and added significant academic value to all participants.

SUMMARY:Workshop on Design and Critical Thinking
DESCRIPTION:St. Pauls College of Pharmacy successfully organized an IIC Calendar Activity titled “𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠” on 23rd February 2026 (5 Hours). \nThe session featured expert talks by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐦\, Founder of 3DFYING\, and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚𝐦\, Professor\, Department of Pharmaceutics\, who shared valuable insights on integrating empathy-driven design thinking with critical analysis to solve real-world challenges. SUMMARY:Two-day training programme on One Health – Driven Analytical Tools for Monitoring Zoonotic Pathogens and Residues
DESCRIPTION:Under the flagship of the MoU between ICAR–NMRI\, Chengicherla\, and St. Pauls College of Pharmacy\, a two-day training programme on “One Health – Driven Analytical Tools for Monitoring Zoonotic Pathogens and Residues” was conducted on 26th–27th February 2026 for 25 B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy students. \nWe were privileged to receive guidance from Dr. S. B. Barbuddhe\, Director of ICAR–National Research Centre on Meat\, whose expertise and leadership greatly enriched the sessions. This was followed by an insightful session by Dr. Deepak B. Rawool\, Principal Scientist\, on Zoonotic Disorders\, highlighting emerging public health concerns and surveillance strategies. The programme also featured a technical session by Dr. S. Kalpana\, Principal Scientist\, on Veterinary Drug Residue Analysis in Offals – Current Regulations\, which provided valuable knowledge on regulatory standards\, analytical methods\, and food safety compliance. \nThe workshop provided exposure to advanced analytical techniques including HPLC\, LC-MS/MS\, ELISA\, and PCR\, along with a valuable hands-on session on residual analysis \nThe programme significantly enhanced students understanding of food safety\, public health\, and the One Health approach\, effectively bridging theory with practical application. \nWe extend our heartfelt thanks to St. Pauls Management and our Principal and Professor Dr. Kiranmai Mandava for your constant vision\, encouragement\, and commitment to providing meaningful learning opportunities. SUMMARY:A Training Program on Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL)
DESCRIPTION:A Training Program on Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) was organized under the R&D Awareness and Capacity Building Initiative at the institution. The session was delivered by Professor & Principal St. Pauls College of Pharmacy\, Dr. Mandava Kiranmai on 28.02.2026. who provided valuable insights into assessing technology maturity and manufacturing preparedness for successful commercialization. \nDr. Kiranmai explained the TRL framework\, originally developed by NASA\, outlining the nine levels that track the progression of research from basic scientific principles to fully operational systems. She also highlighted the importance of Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRL) in ensuring scalability\, pilot production feasibility\, quality compliance\, and regulatory preparedness. \nThe session emphasized bridging the “Valley of Death” between laboratory research and market deployment. Faculty members\, research scholars\, and innovation coordinators actively participated in discussions and interactive exercises that helped map ongoing research projects to appropriate TRL stages. \nThe program significantly enhanced awareness regarding technology validation\, industry collaboration\, and funding readiness\, thereby strengthening the institution’s innovation ecosystem and R&D capacity.
