𝐏𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐘\, in collaboration with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)\, organized the ‘𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈 𝐇𝐈 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒’ campaign from 17th September to 2nd October 2024 in Turkayamjal village\, Hyderabad. This initiative was conducted in alignment with the nationwide Swachh Bharat Mission\, aiming to foster cleanliness\, environmental responsibility\, and community involvement. A premier event showcasing cutting-edge developments\, innovations\, and opportunities in the global pharmaceutical industry. The event\, held at HITEX\, Hyderabad\, the visit was organized to expose students to the latest advancements in pharmaceutical technology\, drug development\, clinical research\, regulatory updates\, and industry trends. \nThe Pharma Expo 2024 visit was an enriching experience for students\, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices\, interaction with industry experts\, explore new technologies. The event featured distinguished guests\, including 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐊𝐂 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐲 (Ex-Assistant Director\, MEME-DFO Hyderabad\, Ministry of MSME) and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐲 (Emeritus Professor in Pharmacy)\, who spoke on innovation\, entrepreneurship\, and the importance of mastering pharmacy fundamentals. \nStudents were celebrated for their achievements in the Smart India Hackathon\, demonstrating innovative solutions in pharmacy. The event underscored the importance of continuous learning\, collaboration\, and the vital role pharmacists play in public health. \nThe guests were felicitated by the college management for their contributions to the event and their continued support for the advancement of pharmaceutical education. DESCRIPTION:𝐍𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – “𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐌𝐞\, 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮.” \nSt. Pauls College of Pharmacy enthusiastically conducted NSS Orientation Day on September 23\, 2024\, to promote community service and social responsibility among students. Professor and Principal Dr. Kiranmai Mandava and Dr. Somnath De\, Professor & HOD\, department of Pharmacology hosted the session. \nDr. Kiranmai Mandava launched the session with an encouraging speech about the National Service Scheme (NSS)\, its purpose to engage young in nation-building\, and the significance of balancing academics with social service. She emphasized how NSS participation may help students grow personally and communally. \nDr. Somnath De gave an entertaining discussion on how NSS helps students become responsible citizens. He stressed that volunteering improves leadership\, communication\, and teamwork in pupils. 𝐏𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐘 organized an awareness rally in Turkayamjal village\, highlighting “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬.” The event also featured a tree plantation ceremony\, led by Chief Guest K.C. Choudhury\, Ex-Assistant Director of MSME\, and Guest of Honor Prof. V. Kiranmai\, Principal of St. Pauls College of Pharmacy\, as she opened the Community Outreach Programme on September 19\, 2024\, in Manchal Village. Organized in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) during the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week\, the event focused on raising awareness of the importance of adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting. \nUnder the theme “Building ADR Reporting Culture for Patient Safety\,” the programme aimed to educate community members\, patients\, and caregivers about pharmacovigilance and its essential role in ensuring medication safety. \nThe initiative effectively raised community awareness\, empowering participants to actively contribute to medication safety. Feedback from attendees indicated that they felt more confident in identifying and reporting ADRs\, aligning with the programme’s goals. DESCRIPTION:𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼-𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙂𝙀 𝙄𝘿𝙀𝘼 𝙃𝘼𝘾𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙃𝙊𝙉 @ 𝙎𝙄𝙃 2024 \nAn intra college 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣 was successfully launched with the goal of developing innovative solutions for problem statements under the 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣 (SIH) 2024\, an initiative by the Ministry of Education. The hackathon focused on 17 different themes proposed by the Ministry\, encouraging students to engage with real-world problems and present their solutions to the distinguished jury on 9th September 2024. \nThe event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 66 students and 20 faculty members\, who presented their innovative ideas in response to various problem statements. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy belonging to 2023-24 and 2024-25 batches. The interview comprises of two rounds\, written test -aptitude followed by technical round. DESCRIPTION:Day-2 Scientific SessionsSt. Pauls College of Pharmacy went on high note participation in the second of 73rd IPC celebrations\, taking the role of Programme committee and stage committee. Dr. Kiranmai Mandava took the lead as Programme committee member to bring out the best of the event with a a touch of knowledge and intelligence. \nThe core of the IPC was its extensive scientific sessions\, which facilitated the dissemination of cutting-edge research and fostered intellectual exchange among participants. Topics of discussion ranged from advancements in drug discovery and biotechnology to innovations in pharmacovigilance and regulatory science. \nDr. Saritha Devi and Mrs. Suhasini faculty and 10 students of SPCP have presented posters which took a knowledgeable turn and huge accolades. \nHighlights included: – Drug Discovery and Development: Presentations on the latest methods in identifying and optimizing new drug candidates. And the need of the hour the Artificial Intelligence. \nFor the Academia Collaboration the IPC congress fostered robust collaborations between academic institutions and the pharmaceutical industry.
