DESCRIPTION:𝐍𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – “𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐌𝐞\, 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮.” \nSt. Pauls College of Pharmacy enthusiastically conducted NSS Orientation Day on September 23\, 2024\, to promote community service and social responsibility among students. Professor and Principal Dr. Kiranmai Mandava and Dr. Somnath De\, Professor & HOD\, department of Pharmacology hosted the session. \nDr. Kiranmai Mandava launched the session with an encouraging speech about the National Service Scheme (NSS)\, its purpose to engage young in nation-building\, and the significance of balancing academics with social service. She emphasized how NSS participation may help students grow personally and communally. \nDr. Somnath De gave an entertaining discussion on how NSS helps students become responsible citizens. He stressed that volunteering improves leadership\, communication\, and teamwork in pupils. Kiranmai\, Principal of St. Pauls College of Pharmacy\, as she opened the Community Outreach Programme on September 19\, 2024\, in Manchal Village. Organized in collaboration with the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) during the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week\, the event focused on raising awareness of the importance of adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting. \nUnder the theme “Building ADR Reporting Culture for Patient Safety\,” the programme aimed to educate community members\, patients\, and caregivers about pharmacovigilance and its essential role in ensuring medication safety. \nThe initiative effectively raised community awareness\, empowering participants to actively contribute to medication safety. Feedback from attendees indicated that they felt more confident in identifying and reporting ADRs\, aligning with the programme’s goals. DESCRIPTION:𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙍𝘼-𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙂𝙀 𝙄𝘿𝙀𝘼 𝙃𝘼𝘾𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙃𝙊𝙉 @ 𝙎𝙄𝙃 2024 \nAn intra college 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣 was successfully launched with the goal of developing innovative solutions for problem statements under the 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣 (SIH) 2024\, an initiative by the Ministry of Education. The hackathon focused on 17 different themes proposed by the Ministry\, encouraging students to engage with real-world problems and present their solutions to the distinguished jury on 9th September 2024. \nThe event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 66 students and 20 faculty members\, who presented their innovative ideas in response to various problem statements. The event took place on August 2024\, featuring two distinguished speakers: Mr. Ravi Teja Gupta\, the founder of Guptaji Invests Groups\, and Mr. Amarnath J\, the CEO of Quanint TechSoft (QTS).Mr. Gupta’s session\, Mr. Amarnath J discuss the strategic aspects of investment\, including risk management\, financial planning\, and the importance of aligning investments with long-term business goals. Dr. Kiranmai Mandava took the lead as Programme committee member to bring out the best of the event with a a touch of knowledge and intelligence. \nThe core of the IPC was its extensive scientific sessions\, which facilitated the dissemination of cutting-edge research and fostered intellectual exchange among participants. Topics of discussion ranged from advancements in drug discovery and biotechnology to innovations in pharmacovigilance and regulatory science. \nDr. Saritha Devi and Mrs. Suhasini faculty and 10 students of SPCP have presented posters which took a knowledgeable turn and huge accolades. \nHighlights included: – Drug Discovery and Development: Presentations on the latest methods in identifying and optimizing new drug candidates. And the need of the hour the Artificial Intelligence. \nFor the Academia Collaboration the IPC congress fostered robust collaborations between academic institutions and the pharmaceutical industry. With the theme “Role of Indian Pharma: For Global Wellbeing\,” the event underscored the essential role of collaboration in driving forward the pharmaceutical sciences and enhancing healthcare. \nSPCP took a prominent participation in various roles with high commitment and the support of our college management. Professor Kiranmai Mandava Principal of SPCP is the active member of IPC Programme committee\, took this prestigious event to smooth running with prior and committed planning. Her commitment to make dreams come truly made the event and our student volunteers shine brighter as stars at the event. Mrs. P. Naga Haritha Assistant Professor SPCP has been nominated as the anchor for inaugural ceremony of IPC celebrations\, who portrayed the best compeering skills making the college proud. \nThe IPASF student chapter of SPCP took to the stage as stage committee: technical team of boys and girls in the stage committee who dedicated their full potential to mark the event as the best with outmost support of the Principal Dr. Kiranmai Mandava. From the tiniest job of arranging to the welcoming and receiving of the guests and attendees\, our students poised great skills of organization and discipline. \nThis grand inaugural ceremony of 73rd IPC celebrations is held at the Hi-tex Exhibition Hall Hyderabad\, drawing eminent personalities from various segments of the pharmaceutical industry. The ceremony was graced by the Honourable Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Batti Vikramarka Garu\, whose keynote address focused on the critical need for innovation and continuous research in the pharmaceutical landscape. The address emphasized the symbiotic relationship between academia and industry\, setting a forward-looking tone for the event. \nThe day started with a prayer song by our college IPASF student members and was later on proceeded by the anchor Mrs. P. Naga Haritha. The guests of the day Shri. Duddilla Sridhar Babu \,Minister Information Technology\, Electronics & Communications; Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs\, Shri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy- Minister Roads & Buildings\, Cinematography took to the event to remind that the 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress in Hyderabad was a testament to the vibrant and dynamic nature of the pharmaceutical industry and its development. Adding that this event successfully brought together academia and industry\, promoting collaborations that promise to propel the field forward. As the congress concluded\, participants left with a renewed sense of inspiration and a collective commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences for the betterment of society. \nOur IPASF girl members have showcased their talent through a dance number with applause. \nThe event is a conquest with SPCP being the pioneering committee for the day.

Faculty and students joined hands with the esteemed Mr. G. Gopal from Patanjali Yoga for a rejuvenating session. Naveen Kumar\, Assistant Professor\, Mechanical engineering\, CMRCET \nSessions highlights\nSession 1: The session highlighted on the innovation and prototype done with design thinking skills and need of up gradation in skills to develop innovative prototypes. \nSession 2: encouraged students and faculty to orient towards startup culture by understanding the social innovation as aspect and tool to design innovative prototypes. \nWe are thankful to IIC president Dr. Kiranmai Mandava\, St Pauls College of Pharmacy for encouraging startup culture.
