DESCRIPTION:IPA-SF NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL 2024Learning gets more value on field and with hands on experience.\nThe team of IPA-SF St Pauls Chapter are glad to be a part of such learning in the 13th IPA STUDENT CONGRESS held at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology\, Haryana on the theme “Empowering Future Pharma preneurs for Navigating Health Technology’’. We are happy to share that 12 students from our college have participated vigorously in the event to take the learning of becoming a successful Pharma preneurs. \nA Hearty congratulations to Almala Aiman Pharm D second year for receiving first prize 🏆 in poster presentation and Aastha Thakur Pharm D second year for receiving the second prize 🏆 in Singing Competition organised as a part of cultural activities at the event.\nOur students once again have proved our college potential by their extraordinary performances making us all proud.\nThe students met Dr.TV Narayana sir IPA President\, Dr. A. Ramkishan Joint Drug Controller\, Dr.S. Vidyadhara\, IPA Education Division Chairman and we feel honoured for congratulating and encouraging our chapter for further journey. \nA Heartfelt thanks to Sainath Chary Gannoji Imm Past President IPA-SF NEC\, Vrushali Doshi President IPA-SF NEC\, Mohit Manichandra Secretary IPA-SF NEC for coordinating and supporting us. \nWe would like to thank our Chairman Mr.K. DESCRIPTION:Visit to National Research center- Natural product innovation center- CSIR CIMAP @Moe innovation cell \nSt. Pauls IIC cell and Industry internship cell have organized a visit to CSIR -CIMAP Hyderabad. The visit envisages the knowledge on the natural product innovation including aspects of cultivation and entrepreneurship in agriculture. \nThe highlights of the visit include- \n✅ Knowledge on innovation and IPR products in plants✅ Cultivation strategies \nInnovation and developments in method pertaining to extraction and isolation of biomarkers form natural products. A total of 61 students and 5 faculty attended the session and witnessed the reality of the subject. \nSpecial thanks to DR. J. DESCRIPTION:On May 4th\, 2024\, Dr. Sambasivarao Tummala\, Manager of Global Regulatory Affairs at Sitra Pharmaceuticals\, conducted an interactive session by St. Pauls Carrier Guidance cell at our college as part of the LSSSDC course\, supported by NSDC. The session focused on “Regulatory Affairs – An Industry Perception.” Dr. Tummala elucidated the pivotal role of regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical sector\, stressing its significance in ensuring compliance with ever-evolving laws and regulations governing drug development and marketing. He discussed the global harmonization efforts aimed at streamlining regulatory processes across borders and facilitating international drug approvals. Attendees gained insights into the strategic importance of understanding regulatory requirements in different regions and markets\, essential for successful product commercialization. Through practical examples and case studies\, Dr. Tummala elucidated the challenges and best practices in regulatory compliance\, fostering interactive discussions on emerging trends and career opportunities in this dynamic field. DESCRIPTION:Mentor mentee program initiative \nSt. Pauls IIC Cell as a mentee institute in association with Mentor IIC institute CMR college of engineering and technology has conducted session on “How to plan for Start-up and legal & Ethical Step” as part of Quarter III activity on 30th May 2024 @ MoE innovation cell \nSession 1: The session highlighted on the key aspects of strategy and approaches to ideation\, critical thinking and need of startup orientation that can leverage the innovation. Session also discussed on the startup opportunities\, funds and orientation of entrepreneurial skills. \nOutcome: Knowledge of startup funding and opportunities\, need of critical thinking skills\, Upgrading knowledge on entrepreneurial skills \nSession 2:The session highlighted the need of entrepreneurship in the present generation. As India is growing innovation ecosystem the startup culture is still in progress and upgrading the design thinking skills to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship as career can give bright results. \nOutcome: Knowledge of ideation\, design thinking and prototyping\, Entrepreneurial opportunities. \nWe are thankful to IIC president Dr. Kiranmai Mandava St Pauls College of Pharmacy for encouging startup culture. \nSpecial thanks to IIC coordinator St Pauls Dr. Sneha Thakur and Dr. Prema Latha (IIC coordinator CMR college) for coordination and successful conduct of the program.
