SUMMARY:Day1: International Yoga Day Celebrations 2025
DESCRIPTION:🌿 International Yoga Day Celebrations 2025 🌿\n“Yoga for One Earth\, One Health” \nObserved every year on June 21\, International Yoga Day emphasizes the ancient Indian wisdom of uniting the body\, mind\, and spirit through the practice of yoga. This year’s theme\, “Yoga for One Earth\, One Health\,” highlights yoga’s role in promoting both individual well-being and planetary harmony. \nYoga is more than just physical postures—it’s a lifestyle rooted in mindful living\, sustainable habits\, and inner peace. When we take care of our health\, we are also better equipped to take care of the world around us. \n🏫 At St. Pauls College of Pharmacy\nAs part of our commitment to health and holistic education\, our students are participating in a 5-day yoga awareness campaign (June 16–20)\, with each day focusing on a specific health condition—from back pain to mental health. \n📅Day 1 – June 16th 2025: Yoga for Back Pain\nProlonged sitting\, poor posture\, and stress often contribute to chronic back pain\, especially among students and professionals. But yoga offers gentle and effective relief by improving posture\, enhancing flexibility\, and strengthening the spine. \n🧘‍♀️ Here are a few powerful poses practiced by our B. Pharm final year student Lingala Saini

SUMMARY:Day2: International Yoga Day Celebrations 2025
DESCRIPTION:International Yoga Day Celebrations 2025 – Yoga for One Earth\, One Health.\nDay 2: Yoga for Hypertension \nJune 17\, 2025 \n🧘 Yoga for Hypertension – Breathe Calm\, Live Calm 🧘‍♀️ \nOn Day 2 of our yoga awareness campaign at St. Pauls College of Pharmacy\, we focus on a condition that silently affects millions — Hypertension (High Blood Pressure). Often called the “ silent killer \,” hypertension is strongly linked to stress\, poor lifestyle\, and lack of physical activity. \n💚 Why Yoga for Hypertension? \n🩺 Reduces stress hormones (like cortisol and adrenaline)\n🧘 Enhances parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) response\n🩸 Improves vascular function and heart rate regulation\n🌿 Encourages mindfulness and breathing techniques \nThrough a combination of grounding asanas and mindful breathing\, our Pharm D 3rd year student Mr. Mayank Sharma explored how yoga nurtures a calm mind and a healthy heart. \n🌱 Because when the mind is still\, the blood flows with ease.
