A guest lecture on โDecoding Histamine 2 Receptor Signalling as a Novel Strategy Against Hypertensive Heart Diseaseโ was successfully conducted at St. Pauls College of Pharmacy (Autonomous), Hyderabad, on 24th January 2026. The session aimed to enhance R&D awareness, explore various funding sources, and emphasize problem identification to address real-world challenges.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ajay Godwin Potnuri, ScientistโI, Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS, New Delhi, under the able coordination of Prof. Somnath De, HoD, Department of Pharmacology.
Dr. Potnuri elaborated on the role of Histamine 2 receptor signalling in cardiovascular pathology and discussed its promising therapeutic potential in hypertensive heart disease. The session was highly informative and interactive, witnessing enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.
