Pharm.D is a six year course. This course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and introduced in the year 2008 in India. Pharm.D is aimed to give thorough knowledge & skills for pharmacy practice in India. The course is oriented towards the patient safety & therapeutic benefits. The curriculum includes five years of theoretical and practical exposure in clinical pharmacy hospital visit and one year (6th year) of internship in the hospital.

Admission Procedure

For admission to the professional course like Pharm.D, the State Government conducts an entrance exam called TS EAMCET every year in the month of April/ May. The students are given ranks based on the marks obtained in the test and percentage of marks at intermediate level (Bi.P.C)/M.P.C or 10 + 2 level.

70% of seats are filled through the TS EAMCET rank by the Convenor and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at Intermediate or as per the State government prescribed rules from time to time.

Reservation Policy

The reservations in admissions is as per the State Government Reservation policy.

Schedule of Admissions

Convenor (General) Quota: Category -A

Usually the admissions by the TS EAMCET Convenor start in July / August and  may vary from year to year. After the counseling, the left over seats shall be filled by the colleges through spot admission procedure according to the rules prescribed by the State Government.

Management Quota: Category- B

The Management Seats (Category-B) are filled by the Management as per the schedule and rules prescribed by the State Government Fee.

State Govt.reviews the tuition & other fee every 3 years or as the case may be for every college.
