• A journal club is a regular gathering of students to discuss a scientific paper found in a research journal. One or two members of the club present and discuss a summary of a basic or applied research paper. 
  • Each participant can voice their view relating to several questions such as the appropriateness of the research design, the statistics employed, the appropriateness of the controls used, validity and contradictions of results, etc.
  • The discussion helps participants to have an idea on initiation of novel research or to new applications of various techniques & drugs.
