NSS Foundation Day: A Day of Service and Commitment

On September 24th, 2024, NSS unit, 𝐒𝐓. 𝐏𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐂𝐘 celebrated NSS Foundation Day, commemorating the program’s establishment in 1969. Program Officer Dr. Somnath De delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of community service in nation-building, while Program Coordinator Ms. Shaik Shireen emphasized social responsibility and encouraged students to become NSS volunteers. A nostalgic video showcased the work of volunteers over the past three years, featuring activities such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, tree plantations, and awareness rallies.
