The 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress: A Grand Celebration in Hyderabad
St. Pauls College of Pharmacy (SPCP) took part in the 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) recently unfolded in the historic city of Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone for professionals, academicians, and students within the pharmaceutical sector. With the theme “Role of Indian Pharma: For Global Wellbeing,” the event underscored the essential role of collaboration in driving forward the pharmaceutical sciences and enhancing healthcare.
SPCP took a prominent participation in various roles with high commitment and the support of our college management. Professor Kiranmai Mandava Principal of SPCP is the active member of IPC Programme committee, took this prestigious event to smooth running with prior and committed planning. Her commitment to make dreams come truly made the event and our student volunteers shine brighter as stars at the event. Mrs. P. Naga Haritha Assistant Professor SPCP has been nominated as the anchor for inaugural ceremony of IPC celebrations, who portrayed the best compeering skills making the college proud.
The IPASF student chapter of SPCP took to the stage as stage committee: technical team of boys and girls in the stage committee who dedicated their full potential to mark the event as the best with outmost support of the Principal Dr. Kiranmai Mandava. From the tiniest job of arranging to the welcoming and receiving of the guests and attendees, our students poised great skills of organization and discipline.
This grand inaugural ceremony of 73rd IPC celebrations is held at the Hi-tex Exhibition Hall Hyderabad, drawing eminent personalities from various segments of the pharmaceutical industry. The ceremony was graced by the Honourable Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Batti Vikramarka Garu, whose keynote address focused on the critical need for innovation and continuous research in the pharmaceutical landscape. The address emphasized the symbiotic relationship between academia and industry, setting a forward-looking tone for the event.
The day started with a prayer song by our college IPASF student members and was later on proceeded by the anchor Mrs. P. Naga Haritha. The guests of the day Shri. Duddilla Sridhar Babu ,Minister Information Technology, Electronics & Communications; Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs, Shri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy- Minister Roads & Buildings, Cinematography took to the event to remind that the 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress in Hyderabad was a testament to the vibrant and dynamic nature of the pharmaceutical industry and its development. Adding that this event successfully brought together academia and industry, promoting collaborations that promise to propel the field forward. As the congress concluded, participants left with a renewed sense of inspiration and a collective commitment to advancing pharmaceutical sciences for the betterment of society.
