St. Pauls College of Pharmacy was highly appreciated by esteemed national news paper ENADU for its tremendous work with UBA (Unnat Bharat Abhiyan) a flagship program of Ministry of Education (MoE), GOI – Successful completion of SEG project. The article states that St. Pauls College of Pharmacy, a premier pharmacy has received recognition as UBA Participating Institute(PI) under MoE GOI from Telangana region in 2020. Since then the Institute has undertaken adoption of five villages i.e., Manchal, Tippaiguda, Lingampalle, Dadpally, and Chittapur under Manchal Mandal, Lingampalle taluk. As a part of UBA program, the institute has taken stewardship to undertake village & household survey in order to understand the problems at village level in 2021 for six months . The short comings were noted and SEG project was applied in 2022. Dr. M. Kiranmai, UBA coordinator of the institution has received a seed fund for the SEG project titled as ” Pilot scale up for cultivation of Black rice and millets. The project was accomplished successfully in Manchal village under the project investigator Dr. M. Kiranmai with the support of Govt. Panchayat Secretaries, Health care workers and Village people.
